Governance

The Board of ANWIN will be deliberately constituted to support long-term stewardship, scale, and institutional maturity as the organisation grows

ANWIN is a not-for-profit organisation.

ANWIN operates independently of political parties, policy advocacy, or ideological positions. It exists to support industry and workforce capability, not to determine policy outcomes.

ANWIN maintains clear conflict-of-interest provisions to ensure decisions are made transparently, independently, and in the best interests of the organisation.

Governance at ANWIN is designed to support disciplined decision-making, manage risk responsibly, and protect the organisation’s purpose — while allowing industry-led initiatives to develop deliberately and without ideological capture.

The Founder & Steward role exists to protect ANWIN’s purpose, long-term vision, and operating principles — particularly its neutrality, industry focus, and long-horizon capability lens.

The Founder does not act as an advocate for policy positions or technologies. Her role is to ensure ANWIN remains focused on preparedness, capability, and credible participation.

ANWIN is the process of establishing an independent Board.

Board Positions Now Open

Expressions of interest are invited for Board and Governance roles.

While ANWIN’s operational leadership brings deep expertise in workforce strategy, industry capability, and systems alignment, the Board will broaden the organisation’s collective capability by contributing:

  • senior leadership experience across complex, regulated and export-oriented industries

  • strategic growth, scale-up, and organisational stewardship expertise

  • international market access, alliance development, and cross-border governance literacy

  • commercial acumen across investment, partnerships, and sustainable funding models

  • governance, risk, and fiduciary oversight aligned with not-for-profit best practice

  • independent judgement to support accountability, resilience, and long-term purpose

Directors will be appointed for their ability to think beyond immediate outcomes, steward risk responsibly, and support ANWIN’s role as long-horizon infrastructure for Australian industry and workforce capability.

Applications close at 12:00 am (AEDT) on 14 February - Request for more information - Click Here

ANWIN’s vision is an Australia that is prepared rather than isolated as nuclear-aligned global industries take shape, an Australia supported by informed choice grounded in governance, capability and readiness.
